Water Based Silicone Primer

Product description
It is an acrylic emulsion-based, high-absorption silicone primer that can be used under all water-based interior and exterior wall coating materials.

Scope of application
It is used as an emulsion-based coating material primer on all kinds of porous, highly absorbent surfaces such as concrete, plaster, plaster, gypsum panel, putty and on old painted surfaces.

Properties
• Thanks to the special silicone it contains, it penetrates the infrastructure thoroughly and reduces the water absorbency of the surface.
• By reducing the water absorbency of the surface, it reduces the consumption of the top coat material to be applied on it.
• By ensuring that the dusty parts on the surface are attached to the surface, it ensures better adhesion of the top coat coating material to the surface.
• Does not smell, does not harm human and environmental health.

Drying Time: 12 hours to dry for the application of the topcoat. Lower temperature and higher relative humidity increase the drying time.

Application
• The surfaces to be applied must be cleaned of dust, dirt and oil that reduces adhesion, and must be completely cleaned of old and swollen paint layers and made dry, sound and clean. Before applying on new mineral surfaces, at least 28 days should be waited for the surface to dry. All water-related isolation measures of the building must be taken.
• Old synthetic-based surfaces should be thoroughly sanded and sanding dust should be removed from the surface.
• SILICONE PRIMER must be mixed thoroughly before application.
• SILICONE PRIMER should be applied to the surface in one coat with a brush, roller or spray system after thinning with a maximum of 10% clean water.
• At least 6 hours after the application of SILICONE PRIMER, the top coat material should be applied.
• During the application and for the following 24 hours, the temperature of the environment and the application surface should be minimum +5°C and the surface should not receive precipitation.
• Do not apply in very hot weather, under direct sun, in weather with strong wind, fog, high relative humidity or precipitation expectation.
• Extremely hot surfaces should be moistened before application.
• The material should not be used on horizontal surfaces exposed to rain.
Warnings
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid eye and skin contact.
• If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
Storage
It should be stored in its unopened package between 5 - 35°C.
